Gun Range Safety Rules

A safe and enjoyable training environment is paramount.  Therefore, please review the Safety Rules.

Safety Rules

  1. Treat every firearm as if it loaded.  The firearm must always be pointed in a safe direction.
  2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
  3. Do not put your finger on the trigger until the muzzle is pointed at the target and you have the intent to shoot the firearm.
  4. Be aware of what is behind your target. You are responsible for every round that goes out of your gun.
  5. If you drop the firearm, do not try to stop it from falling.  Let it fall to the ground.
  6. Keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction, if hot brass falls on your skin it might burn, but you’ll live. Don’t risk the lives oof those around by over-reacting to remove the brass and possibly waving the gun in an unsafe direction.
  7. Safety glasses and hearing protection are a must!
